I don't like abortion. I don't encourage abortion. The best thing to do is to prevent getting unwanted pregnancies in the first place. However, considering the amount of risks that comes with giving birth (mentally, physically, financially, career wise, your whole future), this process should be an extremely well thought out decision. If one finds they can not bear the risk, they should not give birth. Though women are able to get an abortion on their own, I would rather have them get a safer abortion by a professional, which is why I'm pro-choice.
In order to prevent abortion, we need to prevent unwanted pregnancies. For that, I’m in favor of good sex education and practicing safe sex, rather than to tell women to keep their legs closed. Sex is a natural desire that should not be shamed. Women as well as men should enjoy sex. And if you were to tell women to keep their legs closed, you’ll need to tell men to keep it in their pants (It takes two to have sex, duh), which will not happen because men don’t got the direct consequences of getting pregnant.
People that are pro-life are very empathetic. But in order to make the world a better place, there needs to be a balance between empathy and logic.
