idk why but yesterday at like 1 a.m. (I think I saw something on pinterest about it and it sparked an interest) i decided to do some research about Nikolai Gogol's(the author you fucking dweeb) death and I found out he died around 1853 of starvation because a PRIEST told him to fast when Nikolai confessed to him about possibly being a homosexual...
doctors tried to cure his ED in VERY questionable ways like shoving soap up his ass and now I don't know if I should laugh cry or do more research about the doctors back....

When people tell me that they think that Psychology is quackery, I am reminded that stuff like this was fairly recent and that modern medicine is still very very young.
