hey man, i'm sorry to hear you're feeling ashamed. i don't really know what advice i could give that would be like, useful. i don't think this is anything to be ashamed of, but i also understand high school and adolescence is hell, and that hiding might be necessary to protect yourself from bullying. i know you said that for you it's involuntary, but perhaps when you're feeling calm and "big", maybe you could weigh the pros and cons between risking telling your close friends or family (and risking ridicule, but there's also the potential for acceptance and feeling less alone). i don't know you, obviously, and i don't know how good your relationships are, or if you might be put in any danger by "coming out", so it's really a decision only you can make.

if you want to lean into your age regression or explore in voluntarily, depending on your perceived gender, thankfully nowadays it's more acceptable for teens to carry around plushies and stuff (although it might be harder for those coercively assigned male at birth/CAMAB). i think there might be SFW/nonsexual age regression spaces nowadays, although i can't say i'm too familiar with them, since i grew up in a time where society shoved everyone into the label of "pervert" or "danger to normalcy" / "danger to the family" for age regressing. maybe willingly doing "little" things might make it feel less like you're repressing it or decrease feelings of shame, idk.

there's quite a large overlap between age regressors and neurodivergent (autistic, ADHD, CPTSD, depression, anxiety, etc.), and the LGBT community (particularly those CAMAB i've noticed), young and old alike. so you're not alone. i recall feeling such joy about hearing about a 40 year old cis gay talk about his experiences using a teddy bear and pacifier to cope with his own CPTSD as a 13 year old who was feeling very ashamed and alone. i imagine it's popular among those groups because we/they face such repressive and often unjustly angry and violent pressures to "grow up", and any deviation from that is seen as a threatening "perversion".

I don't know a lot about this but age regression is when ppl sometimes like to act /roleplay as much younger (sometimes like 2 and sometimes 8, it just depends on the person) people don't like it because it's usually associated with being rlly kinky and just cringy but most people don't do age regression in a kinky way it's just self expression and (in some cases) a way of dealing with trauma. I'm not a professional tho and I'm not an age regressor but that's like the basics I don't know more
