Staring at those words felt a lot more than him being funny It was almost like he knew what I meant
Or what I was trying to say
I wasn’t really trying to say it that way

I’m just feeling tired
Exhausted
Questioning everything in my head but not speaking out loud about it
Slowly suffering in silence like bacteria coming into your body
But I have enough self-love to fight off it
Just like my immune system
And some people can survive off like that
But sometimes we all need a little vaccine to feel a little bit more protected and secure I can survive off of self-love but it isn’t satisfying
Still staring at that text a bit more before finally answering with
“?”
