If you can't decide and haven't been to the States, I'd recommend Texas. It's so massive, that it can practically serve as a microcosm of the USA as a whole. It has:
Damp, hot coastal regions full of crazed drug traffickers and chauvinists (like Florida)
Mountainous forests unbeholden by human eyes (like Montana)
Deserts the size of European countries (like Arizona, Nevada, or New Mexico)
Austin (Little California)
The designated corporate citadel of Dallas (like NYC but better weather)
Places that serve deepfried seafood in every conceivable combination (like Louisiana)
Military towns in oddly Mediterranean climates (like Virginia)
And so much more.
texas sounds pretty good tbh. how about the weather? I will be living by myself so I think I won't need a big apartment or a place to stay and anyway, thank u so much for ur description, it made me curious about texas more

Depends entirely where you go. The coastal and gulf regions like Corpus Christi, Galveston, etc. are very hot and humid, also rife with storms during the winter. In the centre you'll find more arid desert climate (hot as balls during the day, temperatures around the freeze point at night). Meanwhile the northeast is relatively moderate, because the mountains keep most extreme weather phenomena out and the expansive forests cool it down quite a bit. You can really have any type of climate in Texas depending on where you go.

no wayyy so when it's hot then it's hot, when it's cold then it's feezing cold? :c northeast sounds great, is it near any forest or mountains? I'm hoping for a place where I won't get bored or at least have something to do or maybeee a job, but I don't think I will move to a big states like NYC or LA. what I want to consider is the weather and the environment :) the more close to a forest, the better.

Yeah in the northeast of Texas you'd be pretty much surrounded by forests. If you'd also like to be nearby the ocean, you'd probably like Beaumont. It's pretty big and sort of forms the synapse between the water and the forested hills. A bit further north there are also quite a few lakes. As for the job market I can't really say though.

OMGGG that sounds like a dream to me because that means I can explore those places of nature, I'm still considering about the weather tho lolll. anyway, thanks for giving me these information, it helps me so much to choose or add it to my list :) I hope u have a great day :D

michigan is the prettiest state ever <3 (biased)

genuinely idk though. lots going on here in the US that makes it hard to know where is safe. i'd say look at the more democratic (blue) states but even that isnt a sure way to pick a safe place to live. plus everything is becoming so expensive. even a studio apartment might cost $800 a month
if you really plan on doing this, do a lot of research into each state youre looking at. its crazy out here
OMG MICHIGAN, I haven't thought of that. I'm still doing a research about the states, I'm interested in wisconsin or maybe north carolina but people said it's boring there, what's ur thought :c

ive never been to wisconsin (tho i'd love to visit. tbh i want to visit each state except hawai'i because native hawai'ians are tired of tourists and i dont blame them), i went to north carolina once, to carolina beach on the ocean and it was BEAUTIFUL! but thats just a very, very small portion of NC so i dont know what the rest of it is like, except for the parts we drove thru. i saw mountains, wetlands, plains, forest, it was a really nice road trip thru appalachia to get there!

the thing about the states is that they are very big. like, HUGE. you cant really describe any state by biome or anything like that because theyre so big that a lot of times there are a lot of different types of environments and stuff. even new york with all its big cities has lots of countryside, too
i lived in arizona for about a year and it was gorgeous (i lived in the desert at the very end of the mountain range where they were little more than big hills), but waaaay too hot most of the year. ofc i lived near phoenix tho, in the valley. it isnt so hot up in the mountains, like in flagstaff where they get snow in winter. i wish i'd gotten to visit flagstaff and the grand canyon when i lived there
OH i lived in nebraska for a couple years, too. not much to see or do there but its pretty. i love the great plains! there's a prairie museum where they have a little town thats been there for a long time. old post office, train station, jailhouse, homes and farms, and a small museum with info about the settlement and the indigenous tribe(s) that also live around there. the employees dress and live like the people from those times (late 1800s-early 1900s). really neat ^_^
as for states ive visited or at least driven through...
illinois, indiana, ohio, pennsylvania, kentucky, west virginia, virginia, tennessee, georgia, florida, and iowa. i think thats it! theyre all pretty and interesting in their own way. except ohio. fuck ohio LOL

OMGGG I appreciate ur respond so muchhhh. at first I was thinking about indiana, I've done my research about indiana more but thinking about it, I think I'd like to know other states too. I'm not used to cold weather so I think I'll find somewhere with low chance of snowing on winter. and I will be living alone so I have to find a place which is safe lolll, exploring states sounds so good I REALLY WANT TO DO ITTTT. and I also curious about forest and mountain, reading ur story makes me want to do it more HAHAHA. do u have any tips to find a place or a town that wasn't so quiet/dead?? so I won't feel alone and I can maybe find a job or things to do, I'd love to know more :D
