So I have this character (purple shawty from the last blog....or post or whateverrrr) and I want her to be more gothhh because that last "goth jester" fit was not it (╥﹏╥) so like...whats considered goth, and what are some good brands or references I can look at for her outfit??

I would look on titkok or pintrest. I know they thrift a lot so you could also check youtube too. Sorry I'm not educated to help on this topic.

goth doesn't usually do "brands" for clothing - it's all thrifting. But for shoes I know every goth would LOVE to own a heavy pair of either demonias or if they're leaning more punk then dr. martins. Usually corsets and a ton of silver jewelry are involved, crosses, laces and fishnets, fancy flowy clothing. Crazy shit. And with the makeup it ranges from eyeliner underneath the eyes to that heavy black & white. Gl with character designs!!

lots of layers! id recommend finding references from goth people from the 90s if you want a more traditional look but if you want something a bit different then you gotta get specific :) it doesnt have to be all black either, purple, brown, blue, and red look pretty good in that style as well
thankkkk youu so much, I'm so bad at outfits(×_×). idk why my brain thought there wouldn't be goths in the 90s. Her setting is the late 80s to early 90s, so I think that'll be perfect :)
