I made an unsettling smiley face for you guys to study
It doesn't have a url it's Raw Data which is why it looks crispy and low res.
I used this tool to make it: Some random base 64 converter site
It's a simple 64 by 64 webp file type with a limited color pallette.
You really wanna posterize your images after you shrink them.
The benefit I feel to doing it this way, is that the image can exist inline meaning you don't need to rely on external services and if someone copies the web html to archive your site, they don't need to then follow additional hyperlink trails to get the appropriate assets and then alter the file paths to work locally.
There is a tool called HTTrack if you are interested in becoming the next "Internet Archive" though... ...but its like sending out a NASA probe to a distant planet, you have to configure it right or else it will either miss resources or just try to become the entirety of google. So you've been warned. Be careful with the power
