book recommendations???

what kind of books do u read?? and which ones?? im in need to read something!!! 

i was reading kafka on the shore by haruki murakami and stop reading it...the story is really nice but it makes me uncomfortable the way he writes about women (also with THAT scene of kafka and sakura.....ughhhh i immediately left it there...)

did u guys read it?? what are your opinions about it??
