Anyone know of any reputable seller of old computer? Looking for some old, rundown computers to start tinkering with and to fill up some of the negative space in my room. I've seen some at places like good will but it's pretty rare for them to be there. Right now I'm looking for old portable computers to be specific, like a 1981 IBM 5155 portable pc so if anyone knows of any places where I could find tech like that please share it in the replies!
oh and also my budget isn't super huge so please no 1000 dollar ebay listings, looking for venders who sell reasonably priced tech

My recommendations are:
-Local listing sites like Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace
This one is especially good if you live in bigger cities since you'll have more access to listings
-Thrift Stores in general
If your town has thrift stores or antique stores other than goodwill then you should try checking those. Many of my cool computer things have come from these places
-Electronics Recyclers like Free Geek or others
Generally they will have a store location that will sell some of the more interesting pieces that they find. Although they can be really expensive.
-Shopgoodwill.com
They do bids on things instead of selling it at a flat price, so you can sometimes snag something for a good price.
-Ebay
If you need anything extremely specific or rare, then you'll probably have to go to ebay. Prices will be really expensive.
I'd also recommend trying to get into the local community if it exists in your area!
Thanks! Like i said in my original post i've seen them at a few thrift stores but they're pretty rare around here, i haven't check at any electronics recyclers yet though so i'll keep that in mind next time i go searching
