[Anime] Chuuzenji-sensei - currently airing

I wanted to talk about Shirashi-sensei’s character. I don’t exactly search for realism in fiction but she’s the most realistic female teacher I’ve ever seen in anime. Strict when it matters, but very soft-hearted. She reminds me of the (good) teachers at my school. The friendly ones that were students themselves, that understand our struggles and want us to experience our youth in the best possible way, that cover for us even when we go against the rules. 

Mild spoilers, Shiraishi-sensei made up a whole ghost story to cover for one of the students in her club.

This type of teacher is rare but they really do exist and I love how her character portrayed one of them. I think it just made me feel kind of nostalgic for one of my teachers who was basically Shiraishi-sensei but got transferred.
