follow up to my old post abt dnd

uhmmm its going a lot better (yippee!) we've ended up just kinda focusing on the side quest that we go to when we don't have enough players there to do the main campaign. basically our characters have entered this freaky dream world with a village full of werewolves. some of the others left to do something else in the dream world but idk i havent been paying attention to them bc idc. the main little gang (the intellectuals) have been trying to figure out whats been going on in the village. 

ive been. uhh. flirting with one of the werewolves. hes like this big strong hairy dude named marv and i love him dearly. his interactions with my character, luris, are so funny to me purely bc of how much luris's personality changes when hes talking to marv. normally hes all mysterious and serious (my nonchalant king) but he gets all giggly and silly around marv. very fun for me. 

for the past few sessions ive been helping marv take care of his son and just generally trying to help him as much as i can. we ended up having wine together, and he admitted to me that he was a werewolf (nobody in the party had any idea about the townspeople being werewolves before this), as well as telling me that during full moons, they can't control what they do at all, which is how his human wife ended up dying (rip bozo). then he dropped the absolute bomb that there was a full moon like. the next day. so of course yknow i had to hit him with the "im not scared of you" like. full wattpad style. 

AND RIGHT AFTER THAT??? two of the other party members come inside to tell me that the entire town is going to blow tf up and i have like 5 minutes to convince marv to come w me, and get the hell out of there. so i manage to convince marv, but he didn't want to leave his son, his sister, or her kids behind. so we had to go get them REALLY quickly. but PLOT TWIST marv's sister just got railed by one of our OTHER party members, rin (who is really stupid and we've been trying to get rid of  her the whole campaign - nothing against the player ((ily)), but everything against rin) so we tell the sister that it was RIN THAT WAS GOING TO BLOW THE TOWN UP. 

so we end up escaping, and we're standing in this big open field with the rest of the townspeople. and of course rin tries to defend herself, but we're all SET on the idea that it was her. anyways one of the other party members was fucking around and wanted to scare some random kid just for fun, and the kids mom gets REALLY pissed off, so i apologize on my friends behalf. AND THE MOM SLAPS ME IN THE FACE?? and tells me not to try to tell her how to parent (my low charisma is getting to me ^^;;) and marv cups the side of my face and asks me if im alright.

and. there have been several moments where i think of just. the worst possible dialogue option. and i look at my dm, and they can see the gears turning in my head. and this was one of those moments. i look at marv and ask him if he could kiss it better. AND HE DID????!!! who cheered.

uhmm and then it started to get dark out. and. the townspeople start to. transform. and like. were not about to kill these people, but theres also like 150 of them. so we decide to leave with just marv, and his family (minus his sister bc she was back w rin) and we run into the woods, and make this like. makeshift enclosure for them. and the plan is to continue adding to it so they can't get out in the middle of the night, and let them out in the morning.
