LEARNING RUSSIAN (YAY)

  It's been on my "List of languages to learn" for a while. Being honest, I don't have any practical reason to learn it; it just sounds kinda cool. But I know it's going to bite me in the butt sooner or later. Because it's HARD. 

  Now, language isn't my strong suit, especially with my miserable excuse of Chinese grades. But more Eurocentric languages are easier for me to understand since my dumb monkey brain can see similarities to English. In the case of Russian, it's the alphabet. For example, the letter 'Д' looks similar enough to 'D' for me to understand. 'Cause of this, I don't think reading will be a problem.

  Grammar however... Sigh... That one's a doozy. Russian has this weird sorta system with words depending on the emotion(?). I don't even know how to begin explaining. They also have gendered words, which I guess can help make things simpler in a weird way(???). Like the words are categorized and have a somewhat unanimous way of sounding. If that makes any logical sense.
