and i think tha live version from The Real Will Wood really capturez tha hopelessness of it really well . tha shot of somebody in tha crowd trying 2 wave their lighter but it jus wont light, Willz expressionz, Mike jus laying down on tha floor, tha placement of tha song in tha narrative of tha movie, it all goez crazy . it meanz so much 2 me . iz a grim kind of acceptance . iz freeing and i love it and i want that ache in my heart until tha end of tiem .
