Peter Jackson's the Hobbit

Like most Tolkien and LOTR trilogy fans, I was disappointed with the Hobbit trilogy, but I would be lying if I said it didn't hold a special place in my heart. I love many scenes in it, and the passion does shine through at times. I do wish it was a better adaptation of the book. Maybe it's the age I was when it came out, they came out at just a time where I could really be excited and involved in movie releases. But I just love Middle Earth so much. I have always had such a love for it since I first became involved. And I'm glad the Hobbit can introduce people to The Hobbit and the work of Tolkien, even though it's not perfect.
