Okai so, storytime. Months ago I kept wanting to hack my Animal Crossing in order to edit some stuff you can't edit in the game itself, but in order to edit them, you had to hack the whole Nintendo itself, so make the long story short, I successfully hacked it and THE MOMENT I finished hacking it, I regretted it. Not because anything happened, it went smooth as oil, but idk... the idea of having my one and only childhood nintendo hacked and not vanilla anymore makes it... idk.. more unappealing... Now everytime I feel like playing with my nintendo I always desist because I'm like "oh.. right.. it's hacked" not that I cant still play with it, it just.. feels wrong idk. Before hacking it ofc i made sure that there was a way to undo the process, but i didnt really look at the steps to do so, and btw everyone I asked advice to, they all suggested me to keep my Nintendo hacked, because it's better this way. Omg i regret it really I wish I couldve stop my urge to edit those silly stuff I wish I listened to my gut feeling ToT WHYYY. I've been thinking about contacting an expert to ask them to reset my nintendo back to the "vanilla" settings, but hell if i know where to find one, so for now im with my unhappy hacked nintendo... I mean I could try to do the procedure to try to restore the settings but everyone said that there's more possibility to permanently get banned... idk what to do I feel so weird playing with it now and somehow it feels.. idk unsafe?? even if everyone says that theres absolutely no risks in playing with a hacked nintendo, but idk... it's a feeling. And also, If i got banned with a vanilla nintendo, it wouldnt have been my fault, so no responsibilities, now that i purposely hacked it, if i get banned it's totally my fault and uhhhhh yeah. I fcked up guys ToT I just wish i could go back to normal and restore everythingggg, WHAT WAS I THINKING ToT BAAAAAAAHH sob sob
P.S. sorry if there are grammar/spelling mistakes I wrote this entry in a rush and I couldn't care less about mistakes at the moment

Honest mistake. Most people fail to understand what it means to hack your system until it's too late. If you can fit the shoes of a designer for your own experiences, you will have minimal issue besides tech problems and research. But if you were a player who doesn't bare that weight well, then you start to lose that magic that players yern for. Next time, keep in mind what it means to go backstage at Disney World. Unless you are a weirdo like me and all those other peers, just play the games you find fun in.

What is exactly did you hack? Do you mean jailbreaking? and if so what nintendo device? Because anything before the switch is pretty much defunked and no longer maintained, so there literally isnt any reason to have it vanilla. and its not like the police will come knocking on your door and take you away from modding a console, i assure you it will be okay :)
I'm not afraid of that, it's just the vibe yk, it's a childhood thing and it feels like it removed all the authentic vibe it had when I first got it, even if, visually, it hasn't changed..
