"Are you mentally stable?"

It's what I was asked before I joined a band. At the moment, I thought it was the funniest thing ever. Why would someone have to ask that? It seemed like the silliest thing ever. Then I realized what I was doing. I was joining their band to be a bassist, I was replacing Braxley/Jay. I didn't realize I was replacing him till later. I feel so bad. I get why they have to kick him out though and it is a genuine reason. They have a right to, their band after all. I just don't know how he'll take me replacing him. I feel bad but also, I've had a dream of this forever. I'll get over it sooner or later. I have too. It's dumb not to.
