Love of God

It's hard for me to understand why mothers who give birth to unplanned babies can still love them. I hate the idea of love being forced. Is it really love if it's forced? No, it's not because love should be given from free will. If you love by force then you don't love yourself because you're lying to yourself.

I always thought my mom never wanted me here. I'm an accident. Who wants kids in a third world country? I had a feeling she never wanted me, and if the country allowed it, she would've aborted me. But God didn't allow that.

And I guess that's why I'm here, living, breathing, and crying.

Love grows in time and with God allowing me to be here, perhaps He gave my mom time to grow love for me because He knows that a human is nothing without Proper Love, without Him. And I'm so glad He gave me life because I can praise Him and be with Him. I can recognize His glory and amazingness that can go beyond human understanding. He made me because He loves me and He knew my mother would, in time, come to love me. And if she actually doesn't (lol,) then I'll need time to accept that. And I can overcome that just by this one sentence: "If you have God, you have everything you need."

Being Christian, it doesn't matter if the people around you don't love you. What matters is that you love others, no matter what. Jesus asked God to forgive those who crucified Him, showing that forgiveness is one of the purest forms of true love. Jesus is the Light of the world but the world often doesn't understand Him. Christianity is difficult because people can turn against you. Your brother, your sister, your father, and even your mother can turn against you. Some friends can turn against you because you're Christian. You can be the outcast of society because you're Christian. And this is all what Jesus went through. His own brothers and sisters, friends, and society didn't support Him and they soon crucified Him. But after three days after His death, He rose up and was resurrected. Why was He resurrected? Because He is God and He has Himself (wow!)

So brothers and sisters who think they are unworthy of a loved one's love, please remember God and the reason on why He made you and this entire world. Some of you may not see God as a loved one, but God sees you as a loved one. No matter how far your sins bring you away from Him, you may not see Him but He can still see you because you're precious to Him.

If you have God, you have everything you need.
