What a week! I've been on Easter break so the routine's been a bit wonky! But hey-ho, we've still done some pretty awesome stuff. I still had to sort of grit my teeth through the Iddiekronie stuff on Monday and Wednesday, but it's been getting better and better the more I've been able to write. The songs are more or less comedy numbers which makes it slightly more bearable than trying to play it off as a serious band effort!
We've enjoyed a fair few sunny days here in the UK! A few walks in the park have been lovely, and all the walking around the city has been enjoyable, especially when I see lots of other people sitting outside bars and soaking in the sunshine! I've also very much enjoyed the time I've spent working on some of my own new songs, something which I don't think I've said since the Waiting For The Choir sessions more than a year ago!
I started up a new survival world on my Minecraft realm which is pretty sweet! It's been super fun getting back into all the basic survival bits, especially off the back of seeing the Minecraft Movie last weekend, which was a blast! I'm currently enjoying living on a little blocky island with my girlfriend and going on adventures discovering the new dog breeds in the different biomes and getting excited over the new firefly bushes! What a vibe!
Anyway, aside from that, I've spent a good deal of time with my family, both at family events and just general meet-ups and goings-out. I always seem to become the babysitter when it's an event for my mum's side of the family, but it's alright. I quite enjoy playing around, for the first twenty minutes or so, then I get tired. I'm sure I'll be able to play with the cousins more if I get myself fitter over the Summer!
I'm looking forward to what next week has to offer, since it's my second week of Easter break! Hopefully next week will end with a nice filling of chocolate and sunshine! I'll see you then! <3
