I wanna dress gothic, emo, alt. I know that they aren’t exactly the same but I like them all but idk where to start

I have the same problem rn. I recommend starting with some accessories like belts, chains, rings, etc. Because clothes could be expensive or difficult to find (at least here is like that). Make a Pinterest Board where u put the outfits you like and try to recreate them (no need to do exactly the same)

i’m not really an expert in the styles you’ve mentioned, but i dress coquette and i used to have the same problem as yours. so my personal advice is to start with tiny accessories! check out the main basic stuff like jewerly, hairpins/hats etc! (take inspiration from fits on pinterest or tiktok) eventually you can start looking for dresses, clothes in general. also the makeup’s very important, start learning how to do it, there’s lots of tutorial on yt!! lmk how it goes! stay safe<3
