Literally terrified of creepers and malicious ppl on this site. The thing is I have no idea whose a creeper or not until I talk to them, and when I talk to them, I'm worried that they've already developed afixation on me or have my Ip or something. I'm terrified literally
Guys will message me and say I'm pretty, which I say "thank you," and then they wanna talk MORE to me, and its just like ew
All I'm on this site for is for FRIENDS. If you think I'm pretty, that's really nice of you, but I want to talk to people who actually share my interests rather than ones that just want to get with me. and I'm 13??? tf are these older ppl doing messaging me??? So its safe to say I've blocked all those people. I'm not going to let anyone take advantage of me, I've watched too many to catch a predators and art community drama videos to get groomed.
My biggest fear is being hacked or my IP being leaked putting my family in danger, but if we're being so real right now, my dad has a collection of pew pews, and the danger of that is everywhere. I want to keep being on this site because it's really fun, but I also don't like that the majority of the attention I get is from teenage boys that aren't even my age. Oh, and people who are probably lying about their age.
I WILL NOT get close to anyone romantically on this app. Nope. No drama for me. I am just here for the vibes of myspace and to meet cool people. But that doesn't change my undying paranoia and anxiety, which in this case, is a good thing to have

rule of thumb for the internet, don't share yourself online if your a minor.
the most you can say without seeing trouble is just saying "minor" in your bio, rather than your full age. not only that, having your face on the internet could lead to people finding you in real life if your not careful. not only your face identifies you, but the background of the image too. even if you have a picture of yourself inside your house they can find your home just by the walls alone. I'm not trying to put fear into you, or others, I'm just informing.
I am a minor myself and I've never shared anything about who I am IRL publicly. safe to say I've never had these weird and predatory messages. I'm not saying, "never share what you look like and your age on the internet ever!", but just to be more cautious on how much information about yourself is actually online.

Look, i don't know if i'm can give you a good answer for that. I have the same age as you. But somethings i usually do is not say my age, my gender, and don't show any pictures of myself on the Internet. I know it kind sucks, but is what i do (sorry if i could not help you)

You *should* be cautious of others online, it's no different than a stranger in real life. You're fairly young for social media, as boring as it is to hear that. Most platforms have a minimum age of 13-16 for a reason. It's good that you've been blocking the users who have made you uncomfortable, that's the right thing to do. Block and Report. You also aren't required to reply to anyone if you don't want to, don't feel pressured to talk to anybody if you're not feeling it!!
If you want to stay safe online, you'll honestly want to be pretty Anonymous. That's pretty much a summary of the Internet Safety tips I know, at least.
Never share personal information about yourself and be careful when interacting with people you don't already know. Essentially, don't post anything you wouldn't want a completely random stranger to know about. I'd even suggest hiding/not posting your actual face at your age. The less personal information you share the better.
Regarding your concerns about your IP address being grabbed, the only real advice I can give you based on what I already know is to be super super cautious about the links and stuff that you click on. I mean, you should *always* be careful about the links and files and things you click on no matter what.
