Jazz and fumbling girls

Didn't get interrogated this time WOOHKOOO!!!

it was really funnnnn it was held at this High School like 30 minutes away from my house.. my friend, Lina stayed the night the night before and we watched whiplash!!! (very fitting I know) we were the first ones to reform which was kind of really scary.. but we didn't really have an audience it wasn't that scary nglll we did pretty decent I think??? Like maybe stay qualifying level but I'm not too sure.. I might just be a litttleees hard on us.. we watched this other High School go that was like the next town over and they did pretty gooddddd theyre these two kids, one plays tenor saxophone and one played bari and Lina thought they both were SO CUTE this will come later TRUST!!! 

We all went back to the main gym where we kept our instrument cases and this one music shop came over to like advertise there instruments me and my friend trennen (the one I made flowers for for a girlfriend ex now...) Looked at this GORGEOUS alto sax and I UAHEHRUEHH anyone have 3,400 dollars so I can get it??? Anyways so after that we all went back to the stage area to watch other schools play!!! I ran into these two ladies and they're wondering where choir was going on, like jazz choir so I pointed them in the right direction I hope.... I just pulled up the itinerary and was like "uhh over there I think!!"

We watched this really good school play back in the first Jazz Festival of the seasonnn they played a rendition of "Star-Crossed lovers" by Duke Ellington and it was the most beautifulest thing I've ever heard like it was really really good like CREAMING EVERYWHERE good they're performance that they did was also really good tooooo!! I think they're going to qualify for state like 100%

We left again because there was a 15-minute break and we, by we I mean my friend, Monica, Gabe ( the one that interrogated me about cutie the Jazz Festival on the day of Winterfest), lina, in this other girl that I don't really like ngl.. we played Hot Seat which is where you spin a wheel and whoever it lands on you like ask then whatever questions you want for like 2 minutes and then you switch. Its like I getting to know each other game but we just did it cuz we had nothing else to do so shhhhhh..

we sort of lost track of time and only caught the back half of  the next school but it's okay I guessss... (Theyre def not qualifing..) After their performance was done we went to a clinic which is like a workshop but me and lina had to go grab our saxophones from the main gym THIS IS WHERE THE BLONDE AND ASIAN DUDE COME IN AGAIN!!!! (the Asian is the Bari and the blonde is the tenor) Lina JOKINGLY asked if she should get the blondes number and I was like "hell yeah" but she backed out so I DRAGGED her over there (props to me for doing this because I'm really bad social anxiety) I said "Hey my friend thinks you're really cute um is it possible if she could get your number???" Ans bro she fumbled SO HARD.. wellll not fumbled but the blonde had a boyfriend so yikkkessss BUT IT WAS WORTH A SHOT;!!! 

We got our instruments and left QUICK!!! We went to this tone clinic and me and trennen shared a sax (cuz he plays trombone in the jazz band) which was lowkey hard... BUT HE DID SHOW ME HOW TO GROWL ON SAX;;! it was so wo soooooo cool like if you don't know what Im talking about PLEASE look it up it's awesome

IT WAS OVERALL SUPER FUNNN we got him at 11-ish (we got there at 6:50 something AM.. which is insane but it was all very fuhnnn
