Don't get me wrong. I love doing makeup or things that are considered "girly", but SOME men make me say " i wish i wasn't a girl."
I mean why the hell should i care about what i wear when men don't? Or why do i have to get in trouble because i arrived home late? If i was a boy my family for sure would treat me like a king.

you are so right. especially in my country (türkiye)
things are always changing in a dangerous way. i guess we have to accept it untill we have a good chance to make a revo.

I think that depends on the family.
I am a guy that have to carry heavy things, i make the food of the house, i work and organize the entire house everyday and my sister just sleep on the couch.
When my parents arrive home, i take yelling as a "thanks" because i am a man (but not a dog) and my sister is treated like a princess most of the time even if she's doing nothing.
I think suffer build us, but if its not building nothing in your life you have to tell them. If they understand, ok. If they dont, i think you should wait your 18y and build your life faster than the others and try to live alone with your own rights.
You're actually so right it depends on the family, and i'm really sorry for you. I kinda think if your sister is younger, most of the families love the young sibling more even though they don't accept. I hope you'll do better, stay strong
