Hello! I'm waluigi!

My friend made an introduction like this a few hours ago and I've decided to make one myself! (I totally did not steal this idea off of them (no I am not sorry)).

Hello! I'm waluigi, I'm 16 and from Australia.

I am into well too many things, I suppose that could be perceived as a good thing however since it could bring me new friends with the same interests as myself. Which is wonderful! As much as my social anxiety gets to me, I wish to find and make new friends through here! Long-term friends though, I'm not looking for mutuals, sorry to anyone who wanted to be. I want to learn as much as I can and one way I can do that is through new people and other peoples experiences.

Anywho, onto some things about myself!

✧ I particularly enjoy physical media over digital media, it's so much nicer to physically hold something YOU OWN instead of it being online or part of a subscription service. I mean sure there's plenty of good things about resources being online (i.e. Internet Archive) but it's good to own items of your own. Such as DVD's, CD's, books, etc. I love all of those things myself, that's why about a year or 2 ago I started my own collection of said things. Currently my shelf is filled to the point where I've substituted to placing items where I can, or, again, on my floor. Most of my DVD collection includes kids shows or some animes I particularly enjoy. And some other movies and shows as well. Animes I can't really get at OP shops, (I never have but I wish I could find some, doubt) but I've gotten mine second hand from eBay. As for CD's, most of mine are of 2010's bands likes Marron 5 and OneRepublic. They're alright and all, but I don't listen to them very often and I only really have them for nostalgic and car trip related purposes. At some point I'd love to make a blog post about each CD I own and the same for my DVD's. Lastly for books, it's mostly fiction based on kids shows I enjoy. But recently I did get a non-fiction book on local energy projects, I love solarpunk so hopefully I like it.

✧ I cannot emphasise how much I love plushies. Like at this point I could consider it an obsession. I have so many on my floor because I don't have any room for them, and some of them I even have in a spare room due to the shear amount I own. I love plushies so much. They are such a force for comfort, When I tooooootally become rich and all I want a massive circle bed to fit ever single one of my plushies onto. Screw what anyone says, I will have that happen. Hopefully I can find someone on here who loves plushies to the concerning degree that I do. To show them my plushies and rant on and on about them.

✧ One of my favourite pastimes is going to OP shops! (Thrift stores for you Americans). It's convenient considering affordability is hard so it's nice to have the option to buy things at decent prices, and even better it's all second hand! I adore giving old things new life. Much better than going to a landfill (ew). Some things I enjoy collecting are: plushies, DVD's, CD's, books, etc!

✧ Making or repurposing things is so much fun, only problem is that supplies are usually expensive and I have so many DIY project ideas lined up so aaaa. One thing that's relatively cheap that I am able to make is Kandi! Which I do enjoying making every now and then. I'd like to get back into doing some more of it though. When I can afford supplies I'd love to make figures of my OC's and characters I love. And best of all I REALLY want to get into sewing so I can make my own plushies of both OC's of mine and characters I really like!

✧ I love journaling! For me my journals are a mix of whatever I want, aka mostly a sketchbook, scrapbook, diary and other random stuff but those describe mine the most. I started my 5th one not too long ago actually, for this one I plan on taking my time with it, instead of rushing like I've done with my last ones. And most importantly actually use up both my stationary and my ephemera pile that I have lying on my floor. I started journaling back in August of 2023, and have been doing so ever since.

My blog entries will probably be about whatever's on my mind, and mostly stuff from my journals. I am VERY open to recommendations on absolutely anything at all. If you do wish to talk to me and get to know me more, reply here on why you'd like to know me. I do not know why but I'd prefer to have a reasoning why someone adds me. Anyway here!
