When I first heard about pronouns (he/him, she/her, etc.) I didn't understand it. I was ignorant as to why. I think a lot of people are ignorant as to why pronouns are important. "Why would somebody want to complicate things and make things awkward when messing up they're desired pronoun?" I just didn't think about it from their perspective.
When using a persons pronouns, you let them know they are being heard, and that is you showing them respect. I am in no way an expert on this topic, but I think it is important to normalize pronoun usage. It's always important to keep an open mind, and want to include everybody, even if it means having to ask a question (what are your pronouns?) or putting your own pronouns in your bio.
A lot of people that use pronouns don't expect you to get their pronouns right away, but it's something to show you are listening and respecting them when they correct you.
Something to think about.

This so wholesome! It's so nice to see that someone who maybe didn't understand at first now understands and is acting from a place of kindness

I hope when people come across it, it will help them as well. Always a learning process but I appreciate it!
