How to do liberty spikes?

How do I get my hair in liberty spikes? I go to a concert tomorrow so I'd love to get my hair to look cool!! I have shoulder length hair, does that work?? Any links to a good tutorial (best with a video, but pictures are fine too!!!), or do you have any advice (pls leave in comments)? I'm desperate pls!!!
