Teaching someone not to hurt others when they're apathetic involves like building empathy through changing their prospectives on others and things, encouraging self-reflection with open-mindedness and by making meaningful connections with them and advising them to do the same.
But sometimes you cant change someone who doesn't care enough to change or recognise the efforts that the other is putting in to change them.. well thats just my opinion tbh
what if they biologically cant build empathy3 so the only way to convince them is through pure logic but it wouldnt work if theyre adamant on not caring about others huh...
Well.. in such cases, it's essential to make them consider the potential consequences of their actions on themselves tbh.. such as like.. social isolation, impact on their relations with others, or damage to their mental well being and reputation... Some apathetic people might respond better to self-interest-based arguments, but this approach may not work for everyone tbh.
