Hey there, SpaceHey, it's β€’Beckβ€’

The thing that I'm most excited about using this platform for is the coding. I am one of those Millennials that learned how to code HTML and CSS via MySpace and Tumblr back in the day, so getting back to my roots with it is really nice.

Especially since most of the Tumblr layouts that I worked on as bases were very basic due to the limitations that most layouts had. MySpace is really where my friends and I learned the basics.

Anywhooo, I spent literally all of yesterday working on my layout to achieve the ✨pastel vaporwave✨ wonderland that I wanted. I hope that everything is legible. I'm going to be working on a couple of other layouts using some other layouts as bases for the time being. Mostly because, well, it's been a while since I've done some hard coding. And also because I want to get back into the swing of using stuff for my job (I create emails using HTML and basic CSS for my company).

I won't be posting any layouts until I make one completely by myself. It's an art thing. I don't want to promote something as my own when I'm using someone else's hard work as a base. Doesn't sit right to me.

That being said, I want to give credit to the talented user who's layout I used as a base for my current layout. The user's name is Bela and the link to the layout that I used as a base is below as well as a link to her full list of layouts:

Their work is fantastic so everyone should check them out!!
