Another day. Just living. It's sticky with sap and pollen outside. The rains are hot and leave a steam on the concrete. Although it's technically spring, it feels like summer has began in Tennessee.

My whole life is sprawled out right here in front of me. I'm looking at all the pieces, putting them together. I feel so disconnected from it all. What is time? Where am I going? What will I become?

College, jobs, responsibilities. I just feel so jaded. 

It feels like I'm already dead, and I'm just waiting for people to catch on. 

Well, after math lessons I'll go home and let it melt away. I'll have a few drinks and play video games. Time is melting away. I'm 16, 19, 30 and 60 all at once.
