What I got for my birthday

My birthday recently passed, I turned 24! WOW! I didn't think I'd make it this far. I celebrated the day before at my grandmothers house. She asked me the week prior what kind of cake I wanted for my birthday, I didn't want a cake though, I wanted strawberry shortcake. This week I got my strawberry shortcake, along with a digital camera and a gift card from my uncle. Then once we got home from my grandmothers, my mom gave me an mp3 player (apparently you can get them pretty cheap nowadays since they're not as popular which is a win for me!!)

The next day on my birthday my sister came into my room to give me the rest of the gifts from my mom. Some duffle bags for when I move to Alberta, a crochet mushroom, and a tote bag that says "cool aunts club"

I put some of my favourite pins on the bag then packed my things to go out that night. I left around 5:00pm to catch the bus to go to the mall and meet my friends. I took the bus that goes throughout the city. Listening to music on my MP3 player instead of my phone had me less tempted to always be on my phone. I took the time to listen to my music and enjoy the sights of the city. I got to the mall and got a smoothie, I got mango pineapple but the texture was icky and I didn't end up finishing it `(*>﹏<*)′

I met up with my friends at a clothing store. They were trying on clothes when I got there. Once they tried on and bought their clothes we walked around the mall for a little bit. We went to the bathroom so one of my friends could change out of her work shirt and into the top they just bought. While we were in the washroom my other friend got pretzel bites. Afterwards we went to that store that sells all the massage chairs and gadgets. My back has been bad from lifting boxes at work, so I sat down in the massage chair. My friend walked over and started feeding me cinnamon pretzel bites. Peak princess behavior right there. This was probably the peak moment of my life being fed cinnamon pretzel bites in a massage chair. Afterwards we went to the Dollarama to get stuff to decorate my camera and MP3 player, then left the mall to go downtown ˚ ༘ 🚍⋆｡˚

When we got downtown we started looking for a sushi place. I have been on a sushi craze as of late, I fear it's become a hyper fixation food and I don't know how I'm going to financially support my newfound addiction. We found a place across from the library, I ordered two 8 piece California rolls. Just as I was about to tap to pay my friend pushes my hand away and pays for the food herself (╥ ω ╥) We got the sushi and walked back up the street to find a place for my friends to eat because neither of them liked sushi. They decided to go to McDonalds and try the new Minecraft happy meals. Once the food was acquired, we walked back to their house and ate our food. We watched the old Hello Kitty and Friends show from the 90's while we ate and I decorated my camera and MP3 player. 

Once we finished eating I got ready to leave to go back home. Right before I left my friend stopped me and and gave me a present. Little teapot earrings!!

Overall my birthday was a not so bad one. I was scared I was gonna spend it alone and not doing anything, but I turned it around and ended up having a good time.
