It's so chill and casual here, there's no status quo that I need to keep up with, no celebrities, and no algorithm. It's like visiting a cafe and see people come and go, and the few regulars that you see often. Best of all, people are genuinely talking to each other.
No platform is perfect, but god this is so much better than the loudness of some other platforms. Took a little bit of time to navigate the site, but I'm getting use it now. Maybe this will encourage me to get better at html.

I’m also still learning this site lol, (the code stuff is still confusing) I agree it’s chill! I kinda wish most media wasn’t ran by kids,,,(no offense to the kids, I question the parents more,,) but nice to see this place free from bots, spam, and scams ;-;
Oh yeah, that's also a huge concern that I'm seeing more and more. I think it's more apparent on TikTok and Instagram (I don't use the former). Though not with just the parents, but there is also a noticeable lack of psa videos on how to navigate the web... that and/or kids think they're too cool for the rules. Unfortunately those are only a part of the larger issue of internet commodification.
