there are a lot of underage users on this site (which is weird bcuz they shouldn't really be that familiar with 2000s internet considering most of them were born sometime after 2007)

but like any online space, there's always teens who just want to find a place to fit into.
spacehey just happens to be the most customizable and classic in terms of functionality.

I understand it tho, growing up in a time where all mainstream social media is filled with bots, ads, and has no customization. spacehey seems like a gift from god in the way it's literally a site from the 2000s but made functional to work today.

also spacehey isn't a website that demands your attention, you log on, check some stuff, then when you get bored you just log off for the day. this means less time spent online and also no way for social media addiction to happen (hypothetically if spacehey was the only social media you used)
so a lot of people, not just teens, use spacehey as a "light" social media experience to detox from modern social media
