I recently made a Myspace account, but even before I created it, I already knew what it was—I mean, I’d never been on it or anything, but I had an idea. To me, it was like Facebook from the 2000s.
But when I made it and started sharing my profile with my friends from high school (I’m 16 lol), all of them were like “Myspace? What’s that?” or “What’s it for?” and they thought it was some sketchy virus site just because of how my profile looked. One of my friends even got mad because of the screamer I put on the landing page, and another one thought she got hacked because of the song I added. Like WHAAAT??? I’ve known about Myspace since I was little, and to me it felt like common knowledge or something.
Conclusion: I don’t know, it just felt weird that only my boyfriend, me, and two other friends knew what Myspace was.

Myspace It's general knowledge, I can't believe there are people who don't know what it is, even though it really was the Facebook of emos in early 2001. (• ▽ •;)
