"Not hungry" and also tangerines <3 (rant)

I just told my mom I "wasn't hungry" when she told me to get my dinner.

And then I proceeded to take a bowl full of assorted berries and baby carrots and tangerines. My dad asks like "I thought you weren't hungry??" and I say "I'm am... I'm not hungry for food - "

And I know that sounds very ridiculous but just hear me out - I already ate like food food at 5:30 ish PM so it feels weird to eat again, and I'm not eating these fruits and stuff because I'm hungry, I kinda just want something to chew so that I can focus on my homework (which im totally not avoiding by writing this...) and so I don't fidget with something else like biting on my fingers or picking on my skin. They're not really filling so I can eat them even though I'm not hungry and also... I just want to.. I don't know man -

Also can we talk about how freaking AMAZINGLY AMAZING TANGERINES ARE??? Like they are the pinnacle of fruit. Not only are they delicious and juicy and amazing, but they're also extremely convenient. Like you don't have to package them in a bag or anything like grapes or berries or whatever, and you don't have to wash them like an apple because of the peel-able skin. Ugh I just love tangerines so much. Its not rare to catch me eating 5 in a sitting.
