I think it's awesome that people are able to customize their blogs, but I noticed that few of them have a screen lines overlay that makes it hard to read text for me. Is there way to disable it with the inspection tool?

Typically, if the profile/blog has a layout with a filter, they're using a body::after selector. Try finding that in Inspect Element and deleting it!
