Why are there shooting stars? [My English mythology assignment LOL]

I don't want my creativity to waste so screw it, I'm posting it here. It's written on a paper but ImgBB lowers the quality of my pics for some reason so...I'm gonna encode all this.

Angels were amongst the most respected beings in the universe. they provided light, guidance and protection. They followed a set of rules, what they do is what they are worth. One of them is a humble angel named Jonas.

he was taught to never question God's ways, never to talk back or argue, but that also meant he was never taught how to defend himself. Angels like him were heaven's kryptonite: easy to tempt. Jonas saw freedom outside of being a follower and despite multiple warnings from his friend, Ysoh, he followed through with his decision.

And so he fell, he fell along with his fellow sinner as war between good and evil ensued. heir halos shattered into pieces, leaving a trail of light. Their dignity disintegrated wit their powerful wings and he fell on a field of flowers. Ysoh was there to greet him.

Since then, he looked at the sun with hatred and a heart full of regret. He turned his back against the sun, only to face the beauty of the moon. Despite it all, his friend never expressed judgement for his choices. Jonas often visits the field at night, looking up at the vast void glittering with stars. He often finds himself I tears upon seeing a shooting star as it reminds him of the pain of being thrown out of Heaven by the God he once loved unconditionally.

The story is kinda deeper than that tbh. Ysoh is not my OC, that's Vinny's. We have a whole ass planner thingy about this and it's fun. Jonas story kinda has themes of trauma and such, not specifically religious ones. I just wanna say that I'm not a writer LOL my writer friend was JUDGING. I'm still proud of it tho. Btw, my teacher loved it so much.
