Introduction !!

Welcome,
My name is Xavier, but many people refer to me as Big Don. I have a heavy interest in older things, and Sonic. (The Sonic parts obvious though!) For example, I read a lot of classic books, listen to 80s and 90s music, and enjoy a lot of retro games! (I mainly dable in neo-retro, but have been getting into real retro as well.) I really enjoy pre-2000s media like cartoons, music and video games. In addition to that, I'm a big history nerd, and will sometimes drop random history fun-facts as well. I do dable in politics, but it's mainly the theory of it. The same goes with religion and philosophy.

Aside from being a nerd when it comes to older stuff, I also like a lot of anime and manga. I like Bleach, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, Evangelion, Bungo Stray dogs (my introduction to classics from when I was 13), Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and Monster. I tend to enjoy shonen and seinen more, but I have a heavy lean into seinen as a genre. It's hard to imagine that my introduction to anime was Seven Deadly Sins when I was 9, and I'm glad that I moved on from that.

Now moving on from my general interests to what I'll mostly be posting about! I'm going into University this year. (Fall of 2025) I may post about that on occasion, while keeping up with my interests! I'm planning on going into psychology and get a minor degree in history. It's going to be a tough few years, but it's going to be an experience! I'll also post about music, physical media, anime and video games. I'll mostly talk about the older games I pick up for my Sega Genesis, and the Sonic games! I may post about Sonic since I'm making a game tier list and Sonic media in general,. (Archie comics, IDW, shows, etc..) That's just a general idea though!

In conclusion, I'm crazy and I yap a lot about Sonic and my other odd interests.
