Was supposed to be Dark Elfs, end up as something else

So, fantasy races, we all know them, and one of the classic ones are Elfs

Connected to mostly nature, Elfs are a normally a Race/Species known for their long longevity, connection to Nature, attractive bodies, their connection to the good side, and (at times) discrimination against other races like Dwarfs and normal Humans, and once i saw a video commenting on Elfs and how they seem somewhat lacking or bad, including how Dark Elfs end up being "Evil Elfs with Woman being in command, because that is the reverse of Elfs" or something like that...

So as i dwindled in my own mind i decided to imagine a different take of Dark Elfs, using inspiration of the video with the idea of Elfs being connected to a ancient race of Elfs, one basically in godhood, perfect beings... or were them?

What if, as time passed, Elfs started to stay further from their Godhood, becoming broken and imperfect, all starting with "nonfunctional" Elfs that were banished away, being considered the problem of all this.

They were sent to a mirror world, a place with no intelligent race, No humans, Elfs or Dwarfs, neither any aquatic or reptilian like races to live in there, only animals and beasts roam this place...

As this Elfs united for survival, they had to use all they have in their disposal to survive, as they made a promise in their hearts, to one day rise up and fight back against their brothers who thrown them away, like useless trash.

But as time passed, things changed. Elfs in this world started to get effected by the need to change costumes, and even start living all together in house structures similar to hives, with them having to form alliances to protect the young and keep the new generations to be born alive, they shifted their life style of connection with nature (living one with trees and no harm to anything), to one of battle, as Women were forced to change their attitude against Man, standing up against them and slowly changing to be strong enough to take against the beasts by themself, becoming stronger and less reliant of man in that department.

The Males, who once were more closed off and taken highly by others, noticed not only their attitudes dint let them unite in battles and resource gathering with other Elfs, and even made women go further from them, forcing them to adopt a more social personality, as they changed to cherry and more open type of people, capable of building immense trust and permanent bonds with each other.

Dark Elfs also adopted the concept of living together in hives, as males slowly adopting less of a need to stay away in proper rooms, Male homes looked like giant hives, with multiple holes, each for a singular Elf to live in, permitting them easy exit of their resting areas and also access to each other sleeping areas, as 1 hive may share thousands of holes for Dark Elfs. Females ,in the other hand, seem to prefer less, still living together, tho each residence end up having less individuals insides, with most going around 5 Max, and the biggest documented case having 12 Female Dark Elfs living together in one home/hive.

Male and Females end up taking different roles, with Females taking the lead on Securing and Command, while Males focus on gathering resources and lesser tasks inside the hive. Tho, because of the biological change on them, the Dark Elfs have 3 types of blood, each one having general roles for it:

-The Vibrant Blue Blood, known as the Scout role, making one born with it to be more so to focus their life to combat, resource gathering and being capable of great maneuvers and attacks, but most of them lack body mass to tank hits, with males specifically being known to be even more skinny. The reason their blood is Vibrant Blue is to permit others of their kind to notice fast if they found a dead body or not.

-Dark Greenish, Ones that have the most body mass and extra skin protection, with females mostly being born with skin protection that looks like growing rocks in their bodies, with Males more so working as cargo carriers or even transportation, while Females were noted to be great Tank Soldiers.

-Dark Red, known for being shorter, with a lot of strength and also more thinking power to compensate, these Dark Elfs have roles of inventors, engineers and Weapon manufacturing, working tireless to provide their colleagues the tools necessary to keep the beasts away but also to improve and expand the kingdom.

Dark Elfs also are know to the love for sport, but principally of combat, having a giant arena, where combatants fight with no end, friendly battles meant to keep all Dark Elfs sharp to dealing with the dangerous world, as they make annual events and tournaments, to determine the strongest between them!

As we speak, Dark Elf kind seem to abandoned their original concept of revenge and taking down the Ancient Elfs, and now, with the only goal being either to expand more, or to leave this plane and expand their kingdom back to the original Dimension.
