why i LOVE scratch!!! (the coding website)

i love scratch because it's like, the only modernized version of "old internet." what i mean by old internet is that there's no slop, nothing to keep your dopamine receptors on full blast, you just do whatever you want, and the fact that it still has a ton of people active on it is great. the one thing i'd like is better profile customization, like changing the colors of the background, or doing some html, like on here. it'd be cool if you could do scratch code for your profile, like how you have to write html on spacehey, you write scratch code on scratch. that'd be sick.

anyway, i also love how many cool groups of people there are on scratch. i see a huge portion of the drawing/art community on there, and they're killing it!!! lots of people like making games, of course, and some other people do silly warrior cat rps. it's such an amazing, and varied website, and there's so much you can do with the projects, too!! they don't even have to be games, or animations, you can make it a slideshow, to tell someone something, like an alert for voice actors, or a qna. i think more social media sites should make coding in posts the thing

i also like how scratch is one of the few places children have online. sure, there's some adults on scratch, most notably griffpatch, but the vast majority is kids. you see a ton of posts being made by kids, a ton of groups being made by kids, and it's so cool to have an online space for kids these days
