am i too old to like dogman??

so i'm just a little curious, recently i really got into Dog Man after the movie that dreamworks made came out, and after that i MAAYYY have bought 12 out of the 13 books that are in the series, and i'm even actively trying to buy a petey (the main ""villain"") plushie-- one slight issue, though, is the books are targetted towards a WAY younger audience, and i'm, like, 17 years old. 

am i too old to like media like this? i just really mainly like the art style, and some of the jokes are honestly pretty funny (or maybe i'm just severely immature) 

but be honest, because i've gotten mixed answers from some people-- some people say you're never too old to enjoy something, but other people have said that it's time for me to find a more fitting interest (but at the same time, i really can't control too much on what i choose to hyperfixate on, it just sort of happens)
