I want to start off this blog by saying this: I don't believe in cancel culture. That's not what this is. I'm holding people accountable for the actions that shouldn't get a pass in the year of 2021.
I also want to clarify that I'm not writing this to force anybody to stop supporting someone, rather to maybe inform people who may not know about some of this stuff.
For as many of these as possible, I will be providing videos and other links to either explain/show what I'm talking about, so this entire blog gets a very, very big trigger warning.
What I don't want is people in my comments blaming or discrediting victims, asking for more proof, or sticking up for anybody listed for whatever reason. That will get you an immediate delete and block from me and I will delete your comment. This also means no "separate art from the artist" comments either because this blog is for me to show the bad things that some people that we have looked up to have done. I will not tolerate any of this mentioned toxicity.
And we can absolutely admit that these people may have made great art at one point in their life that we probably once enjoyed, but we need to acknowledge the things that they've done can take away from the art that they've made and not supporting them is the morally correct thing to do. That includes watching their music videos, streaming their music, or buying their merch. But again, I'm not here to make that decision for you but rather just inform you. I'll be updating this list frequently with more people and instances if found, I just want people to know what monsters some people are.
