Cringe Culture..?

Idk maybe I'm tweaking but I've been a bit more active on platforms like tiktok a bit more recently and doesn't it seem like interests are so much more frowned upon than they were before??

It sorta reminds me of some weird purity culture tbh. I'll open the comments sometimes to see people hating on certain media for very mundane reasons.. Almost like anything that subverts from the mainstream is bad or sum. I've seen this especially with shipping fandom characters or stuff of similar nature
