annoyed discord rant </3

i joined a server FOREVER ago and i didnt talk often and then for like 3 days i talked for a lottt in the general and recently i came back and omg why are the mods so annoying???

i dont mean to be rude cuz i know the mods work hard but at the same time fuck you??? the rules never changed from when i was there so idea why they got stricter. back when i was there and the server just started i was able to call someone a pedophile with not even a warning?? (i was beefing with a proshipper). people sent images that had the f-slur somewhere in it, people sent cussed. i even did a satire romance/sexual roleplay with someone with brainrot and they allowed that??? 

people were able to say something that was CLEARLY a joke and have it be taken as a joke, and if they didnt you can say "oh sorry, it was satire" easy, all cleared up.

but now?? holy hell. the people in general were talking about how the server should make merch (they were joking) they said "we should make shirts and hats and stuff" someone said "propeller hat" so i said "i think we should make a thong" and some asshole responded with "no?"

so obviously they took it seriously so i said "oh sorry that should have had a /j tag on it" and then they didnt acknowledge me and tagged the SERVER OWNER and asked them to deleted my message??? whatttt

apparently you cant say thong anymore??? people used to do so much worse in the server why the hell is thong banned?

anyways i asked them why they got the message deleted and they didn't respond, someone else responded with "i think it violates community guidelines" which is like what?? i apologised for not knowing, i said that ive been there a long time and that i guess you cant say stuff you used to. someone said the mods got stricter. okay??? WHY >:(

later this absolutely pussy of a person did something AGAIN!! (the person who asked if my message could be removed). a person was telling a story and they were breaking up the sentences like this:

and the person responded with "can you please stop spamming" which that message was ignored by op because stfu? i mean yeah they are spamming but literally nobody cares here, its not spamming if they are telling a story. if they were sending the same image over 5 times within like a 1-10 second window, then yeah, thats spamming. if they just send "shraufhuwioasfhew" over and over, thats also spamming and sending a copy and paste too many times is too. what isnt spamming, is telling a story. which btw!! everyone in the server does that, because chat goes so fast that what youre saying doesnt make sense because its suddenly not related to the chat anymore. EVERYONE DOES IT, UNLESS ITS A COMPLETELY NEW UNRELATED TOPIC, WHICH BTW, IT WAS RELATED TO THE CHAT.

anyways op continued their story and this fuckhead goes "stop it! stop!" girl?? is it that deep?? they were absolutely tweaking out for literally nothing it was so strange. 

it just feels like the server is too chronically online now :(

maybe i sound wrong, but im upset that topics that we could discuss before are not allowed and that people don't have as much freedom anymore. literally before people we so much closer, they knew eachother. i remember when  2 people were talking and one called the other a "stinky mexican" and the person would respond with "at least im not a– (i forgot what they said)" which would NOT fly now.
