Spring Break! photo diary

I was supposed to go on spring break to SoCal with my friends. Didn't pan out;  parents wanted me home :( Still had a nice enough time though.

 
My friend drove me home from college. The weather on the rolling hills was beautiful.

Once I was home, I was glad to be. Sitting in backyard.

At home, I picked some kumquats. We have a tree! Forgot to get a pic until next day after I got all the kumquats, but you should have seen it heavy with fruit. Wish I had painted my nails.

I went thrifting with my sister and found a book that my PI in my lab recommended for $2. Didn't end up digging into it, but washed some strawberries and had a lovely time listening to birds and reading a diff book. This one interviewed a few Beat poets some 20 years after the peak of the Beat Poetry movement. It's about learning to live and find purpose again once everything changes as well as the crazy 60s and art in general.

Went for a run. Saw some really large, shiny ants on a tree and a roadkill squirrel would give pics but you don't want to see that. Had some lovely dinners with different parts of my family. One last pic before leaving.
