Patiently waiting for the resurgence of poetry

Hi, this is my first blog entry, I'd like to talk about poetry and art in general :)

I've been writing poetry for over a year now, and I feel like the only poetry community I can be in is an app called Allpoetry, which is amazing but most if not all people over there are like 30+ years older than me. I just wish I could make some friends to share my poems with, without worrying that they'd be stolen too.

I feel like capitalism (sorry) is actively putting art and the idea of artists as a whole in an existential threat, with AI threatening to take over artists' jobs and art being stolen and frowned upon if it's not being made in seconds or by a passionate hand. I can yap for hours about all the stuff that ruins art but I'm just here to say that I hope poetry- the least popular form of art on the internet and social media right now, especially among the relatively younger audience- will make a return.
