Spider-Punk isn't cool, Gwen didn't betray Miles, Miguel isn't evil.

Y'all, I finally watched across the spider verse, yeah, it took a long time.. anyway - here's some of my opinions/thoughts about it!

Spider-Punk isn't cool, at least not as cool as the fandom made him out to be. I've watched a lot of edits of him, seen fanart and fan works in general - he doesn't live up to the hype. He doesn't have a lot of screen time and personality. He's "I hate x" and that's pretty much all he says, him helping Miles specifically is just giving him one tip, that's it. The watch is help for Gwen, that indirectly is helping Miles too, I guess. Either way, he needs more screen time and personality, more character development. I had the same thing with Gwen in the first movie - I thought she sucked, she wasn't a character I liked, but after this movie I'm a huge fan.

Gwen didn't betray Miles and everyone who think she did can't put themselves in her shoes! The "corporation" (don't really remember what it's called exactly) is her ONLY way out, she was scared to go back home. Her father pulled a GUN on her. She ran to the only place she felt safe - to other spider-people. She couldn't help Miles because that would result in her getting fired, in her getting back home, getting back to her father. She was scared of consequences. "But she got fired anyway!" She didn't know she would get fired. She hoped she wouldn't, she already risked everything by hanging out with him! It's not that simple. AND she truly believed that his world could be destroyed if he saved his father. She had no idea that it could end differently, the moment she realized that "Damn, that all ain't true?" Gwen formed a group to find and help him! She didn't betray him, she didn't know better, she didn't have a choice.

Same goes for Miguel, he whole heartedly believed he's in the right, he saw his world crumble, he wants to preserve the canon. He doesn't know what can happen when the timeline is broken, doesn't see another way, Miles is a threat to the timeline, and honestly - he was nice about it, he's a caring man, he ASKED Miles to stay until his canon event happens, only when Miles refused he got aggressive. He didn't want to risk millions of lives for one.
