sketchbook!! (no works, just talking sorryyy)

IM ALMOST DONE MY SKETCHBOOK AND OMGG IM SO EXCITEDD!! ive been working on the last page with is a self portrait of myself with some cute little doodles, im sooooo happyy!!

ive had this sketchbook since February 1st... 2023 </3 my sketchbook is literally over 2 years old, its scary finally finishing it now, i got a new one for Christmas and i am more than happy to start it. ive been watching tutourials on how to start sketchbooks, tips and also just people doing their cover and first page. the first page is my biggest op, its so scary. but im so inspired by all the videos ive been watching and im soooo so sososoosososooso happy to finally be done with this one. the thing with this one is its actually a notebook i stole from my teacher in grade 8, it was in a bin of magazines lmao. We had to do this project where we took letters and words from magazines and created a poem with them, mine was about yogurt and i got 100% on it, i wish i still had it cuz it was soooo cool ngl, but at the same time it was probably ugly. 

Anyways i saw the notebook in the box of magazines, it only had like 4 pages filled up and they were short sentences on the page, half of the page wasnt even used. the book look far from new, it was like old and raggedy. I decided that she wasn't using it, since it was in the bin lmao. Anyways i took the book and i was gonna use it as a notebook but i just started drawing in it and my first page is just a bunch of doodles, its really ugly but whatever. from there it just became my sketchbook lmao

it took wayyy to long to finish it but the reason it took so long was because when i get art block, its lasts like 2 months, i have some parts of my sketchbook where i didnt even draw in it for that whole month. I literally skipped drawing for  all of november 2023. When i got it, it was orange and had some black on it, i wrote my name on the front where it said "name" and I wrote my grade. I wrote random stuff on it with sharpie, like boobs and "im gay", which yes I KNOW is cringe but i was free. 

I eventually covered it with stickers, i found a huge book of stickers, they were just animals and stuff, i had leafs and bugs and sharks and all these things on the cover. I also had random stickers i had, like i have gravity falls stickers ive had for YEARSSS so i used those, and a fnaf sticker i had too! as well as random dollar store sticker packs, they are about 2 bucks a piece.

The reason it took me MORE THAN 2 YEARSSS, to complete it was because I can't draw directly on the paper, in the beginning i could but after a bit the paper got grainy and thin and now my pencil rips the pages. So to combat that i had to glue in papers and now my sketchbook is WAYY bigger than double its original size. the original size isnt even a quarter of its current size. I can try to put an image into this so you guys can see ^^

i couldnt get the image :( sorry gang, ill try again some other time!!! I'm gonna post some of the pages in my sketchbook when its finished!!!
