I'm just yapping about my flip phones
I used to have the Nokia 2780 and it was a pretty simple phone, not having much advanced stuff besides youtube and a search engine, and I wasn't even on youtube that much because the layout and controls just made it annoying, so it definitely helped me disconnect. Some bad things about it was that nearly everytime I dropped it the battery popped out the back and it was generally kind of finicky and light since it was basically just plastic. This phone had a tragic death as it literally split in half after I accidentally stepped on it...
I now have a CAT S22 flip phone, and even though it is a literal BRICK it is much more advanced. It runs on android and has a touchscreen. You can type on the screen, but I prefer to use the pad. You can download basically any app on it. Its definetly less dumb than my last one, but also dumber than an iphone so it still helps with diconnecting a bit
To be honest my parents have forced me to have flip phones, but its honestly not that bad. It takes some getting used to for sure, and its annoying a lot of the time since I cant do simple tasks like scanning qr codes or using a gps (on the nokia). But you can still def find ways to work around its limitations, and it encouraged me to do other things besides being on my phone all the time.
