I HATE RE:ZERO FANS! (LONG RANT) (MINOR SPOILERS)

I love Re:Zero, but the fans are so ughhhhhhhh. I swear, they are always spreading some kind of misinformation about the show and novels. So many people get information from mistranslations or out-of-context spoiler posts. People barely put spoiler warnings on their posts about arc 9. Are they not aware that the fandom is mainly anime-only?

 The fans constantly sexualize characters, especially the little kid characters. If I see another sexual comment about Beatrice, Petra, or Meili, I'm going to explode. Seeing NSFW of them makes me wanna bleach my eyes. They don't care about the stories and personalities of Priscilla, Capella, or Echidna, they only think of their appearances.

The Rem fans are even worse. They always comment under Emilia posts about how Rem is better and complain about Subaru choosing Emilia over her. It's been over 9 years since season 1, and they're still arguing that Emilia is a baby and can't defend herself. IT'S BEEN 9 YEARS! Emilia is a lot stronger than Rem and has gotten a lot of character development. Emilia can defend herself against a Divine General while Rem can barely touch a Sin Archbishop. I thought people in the fandom liked super strong characters. Rem fans can't accept that she will never get together with Subaru in the main story, even though it is very obvious that Emilia is the female lead/heroine.

I also like the people who mischaracterize Subaru. Like no, Subaru does not like little kids. Subaru is not into people who are younger than him! He also would not date Priscilla, Crusch, Anastasia, or Felt. I kinda feel like people are just self-inserting themselves into Subaru and shipping him with the Royal Candidates. There are also just some interesting Subaru ships that I don't personally agree with (Subaru x Yorna, Subaru x Ram, Subaru x Vincent). No malice to anyone who ships these, I just don't get it.

The Tiktok fans are the fans I dislike the most in my opinion. Overused jokes ("Who is Rem?"), misinformation, mischaracterization, arguments, art stealing, are just some of the problems in the community. Literally nobody outside of Tiktok uses the "Who is Rem?" joke (which I'm glad about). The edits are repetitive and people just care about characters having aura.

TLDR: The Re:Zero community is one of the most annoying fandoms I've ever been in.
