Is love even real anymore?

Like genuinely do you know someone in this generation who truly love each other through thick and thin. With all their flaws and weaknesses? I’ve only met like one couple around my age who genuinely like each other and are trying to wait it out for marriage but things are kinda getting sticky so idk about them anymore. But do ppl in this generation even care about waiting for marriage, i for one think it would be great. Could use it to see ppls intentions and would love the anticipation. But I think love is more than that. What do y’all think love is about?

Love, to me, is the sacred choice to stay. Not just when it's easy, not just when it's exciting, but especially when it's messy, uncertain, and hard. It's not perfection or constant butterflies, but the quiet courage to see someone’s flaws, fears, and wounds… and still whisper, 'I choose you.' Again and again. In a world where everything feels temporary, love is that rare decision to build something eternal, slowly, intentionally. Waiting for marriage, to me, isn’t just about patience, it’s about valuing the bond more than the moment. It’s about protecting something fragile until it becomes something unbreakable.Real love isn’t loud. It’s in the silent sacrifices, the understanding glances, the fights you work through instead of walking away from. It's a safe place where both people can grow, heal, and become more of who they were meant to be. It’s rare, yes. But it’s real. And worth every ounce of hope.
