vended is a truly amazing nu metal band from iowa, USA. the members are griffin taylor (lead vocalist), cole espeland (lead guitar), connor grodzicki (rhythm guitar & backing vocals), jeremiah pugh (bass & backing vocals), and simon crahan (drums)

slipknot fans might recognize two names here: griffin taylor is corey taylor's son, and simon crahan is shawn "clown" crahan's son! however none of the band members want to be compared to slipknot; they're their own band and have worked hard to make it

their first EP is called "what is it//kill it"

and recently (september 2024) they released their first full album, self titled ("vended") ^_^ let me tell you, it doesnt disappoint. its such a classic 90s nu metal sound, and yes, griffin does sound a lot like corey but vended's sound is unique and totally their own. i ADORE their tempo changes, the emotion, fucking excellent pit vibes 😈

they came on to a slowed down version of tainted love. griffin tossed the leather jacket pretty early on. it was HOT in there. he kept doing this thing where he would drink water and then spit a mouthful on the crowd 🥰
